4th of July Safety

With the 4th of July quickly approaching, Astoria Dispatch would like to take a moment to remind our community that the use of 9-1-1 is for life threatening emergencies only. Please do not call 9-1-1 for fireworks complaints, unless there is an active threat or injury to a person or if a fire has started. Due to the sheer volume of calls we receive during this this holiday, we are asking for the public’s cooperation in keeping the 9-1-1 lines open for active emergencies. If you wish to report a non-emergency concern the following numbers can be utilized:

Astoria Police Department Dispatch: 503-325-4411

Warrenton Police Department Dispatch: 503-325-8661

Clatsop County Sheriff’s Dispatch: 503-325-2061

Oregon State Police: 503-325-2231 (or *OSP from a cell phone)
