…FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST FRIDAY…

* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues.

* WHERE…Portions of northwest Oregon and southwest Washington,
including the following counties, in northwest Oregon, Benton,
Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Lane, Lincoln, Marion, Multnomah,
Polk, Tillamook, Washington and Yamhill. In southwest Washington,
Clark, Cowlitz, Pacific and Wahkiakum.

* WHEN…Until 400 PM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of small streams and creeks, as well as areas
with poor drainage. Expect ponding of water in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 619 PM PST, Snowmelt and/or periods of moderate to heavy
rain will result in small stream flooding and flooding in
areas of poor drainage overnight into Friday.
– Additional rainfall amounts of a quarter to three quarters of
an inch in the Willamette Valley and 1 to 3 inches in the
Coast Range and Willapa Hills are still expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Do NOT drive around barricades. Road
surfaces may or may not be safe.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding or where the roads edge may be located.

FRIDAY…

* WHAT…Minor tidal overflow flooding is expected around high
tide due to a combination of high tides and unusually high river
levels.

* WHERE…In Washington, South Washington Coast. In Oregon,
North Oregon Coast.

* WHEN…For the first Coastal Flood Advisory, from 1 PM to 7 PM
PST Thursday. For the second Coastal Flood Advisory, from 1 AM
to 8 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding, up to one foot above ground level,
during high tides is expected in the low lying areas near bays,
sloughs, and especially along the lower reaches of the coastal
rivers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…

THURSDAY…

– The Toke Point high tide is forecasted to reach near 11 ft
between 3-4 pm Thursday.

– The Astoria high tide is forecasted to reach near 10.8 ft
between 3-4 pm Thursday.

FRIDAY…

– The Toke Point high tide is forecasted to reach near 11 ft
around 5 am Friday.

– The Astoria high tide is forecasted to reach near 11.1 ft
around 5 am Friday.

A Coastal Flood Advisory means that tidal overflow flooding is
expected. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert
for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and
property.

.Rain, locally heavy at times, is expected later Wednesday through
Thursday. At the same time, snow levels will be rising. Together,
expect rising river levels, with potential of some flooding. Main
concern will be those rivers that drain the Coast Range and Willapa
Hills, but flooding is possible for those rivers that drain the
Oregon Cascades.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is possible.

* WHERE…Northwest Oregon and southwest Washington.

* WHEN…From Thursday through Friday.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

…COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON…

* WHAT…Tidal overflow flooding expected.

* WHERE…In Washington, South Washington Coast. In Oregon,
Central Oregon Coast and North Oregon Coast.

* WHEN…Until 3 PM PST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding is expected during high tide. Up to
one foot above ground level along the central Oregon coast, up
to 1.5 feet above ground level along the north Oregon coast, and
up to 2 feet above ground level along the south Washington
coast. Areas of concern will be in the low lying areas near
bays, sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
-Total tide (astronomical tide with storm surge) at Toke Point
is forecast to peak near 13 feet at 1 PM on Monday.
-Total tide at Tongue Point in Astoria is forecast to peak near
12 feet at 1 PM on Monday.
-Total tide at Garibaldi is forecast to peak near 11.3 feet at 1
PM on Monday.
-Total tide at South Beach is forecast to peak near 11.5 feet
at noon on Monday.
