…HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM PST
SATURDAY FOR BEACHES AND HEADLANDS…

* WHAT…Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
expected near beaches and headlands.

* WHERE…South Washington Coast beaches and headlands.

* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Scattered power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…For coastal communities away from the
immediate beaches, gusts 40 to 50 mph are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Residents should take action soon to tie down loose objects in
yards. Some damage can be expected from the high winds, especially
to signs, tree limbs and power lines. Power outages are possible.
Drive with extreme caution in the warning area and be prepared
for flying debris.

PST SATURDAY FOR BEACHES AND HEADLANDS…

* WHAT…Southwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph
expected near beaches and headlands.

* WHERE…North Oregon Coast beaches and headlands.

* WHEN…From 10 PM this evening to 10 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Scattered power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…For coastal communities away from the
immediate beaches, gusts 45 to 55 mph are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

…COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 2 PM
PST SATURDAY…

* WHAT…Tidal overflow flooding expected.

* WHERE…In Washington, South Washington Coast. In Oregon,
North Oregon Coast.

* WHEN…From 11 AM to 2 PM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding, up to one foot above ground level,
during high tides is expected in the low lying areas near
bays, sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The Saturday afternoon high tide at 1212 PM
for Toke Point is forecast to peak near 11.9 feet. The Saturday
afternoon high tide at 1230 PM for Tongue Point in Astoria is
forecast to peak near 11.0 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Coastal Flood Advisory means that tidal overflow flooding is
expected. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert
for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and
property.
