Tillamook County in northwestern Oregon…
Wahkiakum County in southwestern Washington…
* Until 130 AM PST Saturday.
* At 535 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain which will cause urban and small stream flooding in the
advisory area. Around 3 to 6 inches of rain has generally fallen
over the advisory area, with portions in the higher terrain
getting up to 12 inches.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include…

Beach, Lees Camp, Hammond Town, Skamokawa, Neskowin, Cloverdale,

Additional rainfall of one to three inches is expected over the area

flooding of some creeks and small streams in addition to urban and
low lying areas.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
